I grew up on the north end of Lake Bemidji, a short walk from Ruttger’s Birchmont Lodge. I worked seasonally at Ruttger’s as did my brothers, and we always looked forward to the infusion of “the summer people.” My career includes developing the communications strategy during Ruttger’s pivotal transition to new ownership and year-round operations. It solidified my love for the resort business.
